2025 Topps Cosmic Chrome Football hits the gridiron as a licensed product for the first time, but it still takes collectors on the galactic journey they expect.
With out-of-this-world themes and designs, Cosmic Chrome highlights the NFL’s best players, placing them on designs adorned with stars, planets, and other galactic imagery.
Boxes will have 20 packs of 4 cards.
2025 Topps Cosmic Chrome Football Checklist Overview
The base set runs 200 cards and includes a mix of current veterans and rising rookies. The design features a variety of space-themed objects in the background. Parallels have cosmic names, such as Orange Galactic (/25) and Black Eclipse (/10).

Select players have Constellation Variations, which show players transforming into a star constellation. The cards also have a darker theme, as the players are intended to be part of the night sky.
Autographs will be top chases in the product, with most of the signatures struck on card.
It starts with Base Autographs that include several of the same space-themed parallels as the base cards.
Additional signed sets include Equinox Autographs, First Flight Signatures, and Solar Flare Signatures.
Inserts also play a significant role in the product, with more common themes like Star Clusters and Extraterrestrial Talents and short-printed concepts, such as Light Years, Cosmic Dust, and Supernova.
Horizontal Planetarium inserts have a shadowbox feel to them with a colorful border surrounding a space-like image. Players are at the center of the card, with a several planets orbiting around them.
Planetary Pursuit includes 10 cards of each player. Variations feature the sun and planets from Mercury to the dwarf planet Pluto, giving collectors a chance to collect the entire solar system. Cards become scarcer as the planet depicted gets further from the sun.
