2025 Panini Origins Football helps tell the NFL origin stories of many new rookies through artistic card designs, autographs, and memorabilia hits, while also giving collectors many of their favorite veterans and retired stars in a release that hits store shelves just before the new season kicks off.
Hobby boxes are loaded with hits, with each containing a rookie jersey autograph, another autograph card, and another memorabilia card. Collectors will also search for several hobby-exclusive concepts.
2025 Panini Origins Football Checklist Overview
The standard design for Origins is always an eccentric background, and Panini delivers again with an abstract design that’s out of this world.
Parallels combine to land two per hobby box and will come in a variety of colors.
The rainbow continues in international blaster boxes, which also carry two parallels. Rookies have select Holo parallels exclusive to those boxes.
Autographs Overview
Collectors will find many autographs in Origins, many of which are exclusive to hobby boxes.
That includes the Base Autographs and parallels.
Other autograph concepts include Dual and Triple Autographs, Star Signatures, and Hometown Inscriptions, which are designed with the outline of a player’s home state in the background.
This set will also mark the beginning of the Patrick Mahomes Autograph Collection, which will slowly release throughout Panini’s 2025 products. Lucky collectors will find a limited number of a Mahomes autograph card celebrating Kansas City’s win in the 2024 AFC Championship Game.
Memorabilia Overview
Like autographs, memorabilia cards play a big role in hobby boxes of the product.
There will be multiple booklet concepts in the product, and some individual memorabilia sets include Rise to the Hall and International Origin, which include a player’s home country’s flag and birthplace in the design.
Inserts Overview
Inserts can be found in hobby boxes, but they play a bigger role in international blasters.
Some top insert options are Primordal, In The Beginning, and the simplistic Blank Slate.
Exclusive to international blasters are rookie-centric Start Up, Original Gridiron, Big Bang, and Fons Et Origio, which is Latin for “source and origin.”
