While basketball players have been featured in the company’s multi-sport and collegiate sets, 2025 Leaf Glory of the Game Basketball marks Leaf’s first full-scale basketball card release since the 2022-23 trading card year.
Every card in the product is either an autograph or a memorabilia card, and collectors will have the chance to uncover some unique pieces throughout the product.
Collectors can expect a combined four autographs and memorabilia cards in every four-card box, with two multi-signed cards and one booklet falling in every 10-box case.
2025 Leaf Glory of the Game Basketball Checklist Overview
This new product goes heavy on relic cards, leveraging lots of game-used materials to produce intriguing booklets and other memorabilia cards.
Every 10-box case has a booklet card somewhere inside, and it could come from sets like:
- Full Court, a three-panel booklet that features 12 game-used memorabilia relics
- Pages in History, a two-panel autographed memorabilia booklet featuring several different pairings of basketball players and one card that includes Giannis Antetokounmpo alongside soccer great Lionel Messi
Multi-relic cards continue on standard-sized cards.
One On One Relics put together classic pairings of players who went against each other during their career or pairings who collectors would love to see in a hypothetical matchup, such as Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Yao Ming.
Stars Collide pair basketball players with prominent stars from other sports, with names like soccer standouts Pele and Lionel Messi, the NFL’s Tom Brady and Patrick Mahomes, and MLB’s Ken Griffey Jr. and Barry Bonds crashing the checklist.
Tradition cards are triple relics that span several generations of great players from the same franchise or who followed in each other’s footsteps in another way. The Franchise 4 follows a similar path but stays team-specific.
Autographs
Glory Days Autographs is dedicated entirely to retired players, taking collectors back to a specific memorable performance from their career.
Court Queens puts women’s basketball on the center stage.
Tough As Leather cards feature a leather surface and include men’s and women’s players, as well as Chevy Chase as the title character from the 1985 film Fletch.
The One & Only is a 1/1 autograph set printed with elegantly etched accents.
Retro Relic Signatures include a decades-old design theme, memorabilia swatch, and autograph.
